Section 01

1. About Health & Psyche

Health & Psyche is founded and operated by Sana Amjad, Associate Clinical Psychologist.

Services are provided in accordance with applicable professional, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.

The information and services provided through this website are intended to support individuals seeking psychological information and professional psychological services.

Section 02

2. Website Use

You may use this website for lawful, personal, and informational purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems
  • Interfere with the security or operation of the website
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Use another person's information without authorization
  • Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit website content without permission
  • Use the website in a way that could harm Health & Psyche, its users, or service providers

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website where we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.

Section 03

3. Information on This Website

The content published on this website, including information about psychological conditions, therapy approaches, mental health, and wellbeing, is provided for general informational purposes.

Reading information on this website does not establish a therapist-client relationship between you and Health & Psyche or Sana Amjad.

We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information; however, we do not guarantee that all website content will always be complete, current, or appropriate for every individual.

Section 04

4. Psychological Services

Psychological services are provided based on the individual's circumstances, needs, presenting concerns, professional assessment, and the nature of the service requested.

Services may include online therapy, psychological support, assessment, or other psychological services described on the website.

Not every service is appropriate for every person. Sana Amjad may determine that a particular service is not suitable for an individual's needs and may recommend seeking another form of professional support where appropriate.

Participation in therapy does not guarantee a particular outcome. Psychological treatment can be helpful, but individual responses and outcomes vary.

Section 05

5. Online Therapy

Online therapy is provided through remote communication technologies.

By choosing online therapy, you acknowledge that:

  • A stable internet connection and suitable device may be required.
  • You are responsible for being in a reasonably private and appropriate environment during sessions.
  • Technical problems may occasionally interrupt or affect a session.
  • Online therapy may not be appropriate for every individual or every clinical situation.
  • You should provide accurate information about your current location when reasonably necessary for the provision of online services.
  • Where appropriate, alternative or additional professional support may be recommended if online therapy is not suitable for your circumstances.
Section 06 · Safety Notice

6. Therapy Is Not Emergency or Crisis Care

If you are experiencing an immediate emergency, believe that you or another person is in immediate danger, or require urgent medical or psychiatric assistance, do not wait for an online therapy session or website response.

Health & Psyche's online services are not intended to replace emergency medical care, psychiatric emergency services, crisis intervention, or other emergency support.

Instead, contact the appropriate emergency service or seek immediate assistance from a qualified emergency or healthcare provider in your location.

Messages submitted through the website, email, contact forms, or other non-emergency communication channels may not be monitored continuously and should not be relied upon for urgent assistance.

Section 07

7. Therapist-Client Relationship

A therapist-client relationship is established only when services have been appropriately arranged and accepted by the provider.

Submitting a contact form, sending an email, making a general inquiry, or browsing the website does not by itself establish a therapist-client relationship.

The beginning, continuation, modification, or termination of professional services remains subject to professional judgment, applicable requirements, and the circumstances of the individual client.

Section 08

8. Appointments and Bookings

Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation.

Submitting a booking request does not necessarily mean that an appointment has been confirmed.

Where payment is required to secure an appointment, the appointment may remain unconfirmed until the payment has been received and verified according to the applicable booking process.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact and booking information.

Please arrive or connect on time for scheduled sessions. If you are late, the available session time may be reduced depending on the circumstances and scheduling constraints.

Section 09

9. Payments

Where payment is required, the applicable fee and payment instructions will be communicated through the website or booking process.

You agree to provide accurate payment information and to make payments using the available payment methods.

Where payment verification requires a screenshot, receipt, transaction reference, or other proof of payment, you agree to provide genuine and accurate information.

Providing false payment information or fraudulent proof of payment may result in cancellation of the booking and restriction of access to services.

Payment processing may involve third-party payment providers. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply to transactions processed through their platforms.

Section 10

10. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

Appointments may be subject to cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policies communicated at the time of booking or payment.

Where a specific cancellation or refund policy applies to a service, that policy will form part of the terms applicable to that booking.

Unless otherwise stated, refunds are not automatically guaranteed simply because an individual changes their mind, misses an appointment, or decides not to continue with a service.

Where a refund is available, the method and timing of the refund may depend on the original payment method and applicable payment-provider procedures.

Health & Psyche reserves the right to consider exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

Section 11

11. Confidentiality

Confidentiality is an important part of psychological services.

Information shared during therapy will be handled with appropriate care and confidentiality, subject to applicable professional, ethical, and legal requirements.

Confidentiality may have exceptions in circumstances where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law or professional obligations, including certain serious safety concerns or other legally recognized circumstances.

The specific limits of confidentiality may be discussed as part of the professional relationship and informed-consent process.

Please note that website contact forms, email, payment-confirmation pages, and other general communication channels should not be assumed to provide the same level of confidentiality as a professional therapy session.

Section 12

12. Privacy

Your use of the website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information may be collected, used, stored, and protected.

By using the website or submitting information through it, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review the Privacy Policy.

Section 13

13. Third-Party Platforms and Services

Certain aspects of the website or services may depend on third-party platforms, including hosting providers, communication services, appointment systems, payment providers, analytics services, video-conferencing platforms, or other technology providers.

Health & Psyche does not control all third-party platforms and cannot guarantee their availability, security, or uninterrupted operation.

Your use of a third-party platform may also be subject to that provider's own terms and policies.

Section 14

14. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including text, branding, logos, graphics, design elements, images, and other original materials, belongs to Health & Psyche or is used with appropriate permission.

You may view and use website content for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

Section 16

16. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The website may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, security concerns, updates, hosting problems, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time where reasonably necessary.

Section 17

17. No Guarantee of Results

Psychological services are individualized, and outcomes vary from person to person.

Health & Psyche does not guarantee a specific therapeutic, psychological, emotional, relational, or personal outcome from using its services.

Any examples, testimonials, educational materials, or descriptions of potential benefits should not be interpreted as a promise or guarantee of a particular result.

Section 18

18. Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Health & Psyche and its service providers will not be responsible for losses or damages arising from:

  • Reliance solely on general information provided on the website
  • Delays or interruptions caused by technical problems
  • Failures of third-party platforms or services
  • Unauthorized access resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control
  • Information voluntarily submitted through insecure or inappropriate communication channels
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Section 19

19. User Responsibility

You are responsible for providing accurate and reasonably complete information relevant to your use of the services.

You are also responsible for:

  • Keeping your contact information accurate
  • Attending scheduled appointments
  • Maintaining a suitable and reasonably private environment for online sessions
  • Informing the provider of relevant changes that may affect the provision of services
  • Using the website and services responsibly and lawfully
Section 20

20. Changes to These Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to our services, website, booking process, payment methods, professional requirements, or applicable laws.

Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised Last Updated date.

Your continued use of the website or services after an updated version is published may constitute acceptance of the revised terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Section 21

21. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be interpreted and governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Where appropriate, disputes relating to these Terms or the services provided by Health & Psyche will be subject to the jurisdiction of the applicable courts or legal authorities in Pakistan.

Section 22

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
